Career transitions and employability

چکیده
How individuals can be employable and make successful career transitions throughout their working life is gaining increased attention from scholars in the field of vocational organizational psychology for several decades now. Although contemporary literature implicitly or explicitly assumes a strong connectedness between employability, these two concepts have own historical development literature. In this paper we provide account how research fields around both evolved, highlight some key insights seminal work. We then review to explore more detail relationship employability has been empirically studied so far. end with discussing major observations formulate pathways future research.
